Why I love This Pick
A basic tshirt, yes please! I haven’t made this pattern yet but I know it would be a great addition to my wardrobe. I’m a tshirt and skirt or my favorite pair of jeans kind of girl so I know that I could make so many variations of this pattern. I love how clear and detailed the instructions are. And I love the idea of mixing different color knit fabric for custom cuffs and collars. I’d love to also make the Stellan Tee 2.0, too!
The Stellan Tee is perfect for beginners looking to make their first pattern with knit fabric. While getting into the world of knit fabrics can be intimidating, this pattern holds your hand through the whole process. Just make sure you take your time and practice on some scrap knit fabric first! You can even watch this video by Seamwork beforehand.
French Navy Patterns has countless other designs you can make to fill out your me-made wardrobe! If you’re looking for some fall staples, be sure to check out the Portmanteau Shacket, the Roscoe Sweater, the Astair Tee, or the Belinda Button Up Shirt.
