Why I love this pick

I haven’t made this pattern yet, but I know it would be the perfect cami to add to any summer wardrobe. The thin straps are chic and the scallop neckline is such a fun detail that would be easy to sew even for beginners. It’s an easy dress to hack into a playsuit or dress!

Tammy has written a pattern that is well thought out and easy to follow. The illustrations are clear, and she walks you through how to create an even and professional-looking scalloped edge.

If you’re looking for more patterns to round out your summer wardrobe, be sure to check out Tammy’s other sewing patterns, from the simple yet classic Amelia Skirt to the cozy Cara Cardigan.

Tammy also has a tutorial for a DIY bookmark, a YouTube channel with so many pattern roundups and sewing tutorials, and she recently published Sew Simple, which features 20 sewing patterns as well as tips for getting started as a beginner!

For my version during the pattern test, I added 2cm to the neckline for a little more coverage and spaced the buttons 4cm apart.

I love the waist tie for a cinched waist but could see myself making this dress in another version with a more relaxe...

  • There’s nothing quite like a classic star block quilt. ⭐️

I had the wonderful opportunity to test the new Louis Quilt Pattern for @summerflora.co . It’s an easy beginner pattern is perfect for those wanting to dip their feet into the world of quilting. It comes in 3 sizes and I know I’ll be making many more iterations of this pattern.

I made this entirely from scraps in my stash. The green fabric is a gingham from @linenlab.co.kr and the white is from a thrifted cotton duvet cover. I decid...
