Why I love This Pick
I haven’t made this pattern yet, but I plan to ASAP! I love the idea of making a garment out of scraps. Contrast binding makes these shorts fun and relaxed. You could even use different scraps for different pieces of these shorts for a really fun garment to add to your me-made wardrobe.
Friday Pattern Company is a well-known indie sewing community known for sewists of all levels. Be sure to check out their patterns that are beginner friendly!
They have various other patterns, including The Wilder Gown for a modest dress, the Arlo Track Jacket for chillier months, or the Sagebrush Top for a cute wardrobe staple. There are also bundles of patterns so you can round out your capsule DIY wardrobe at a fraction of the price.
