Why I love This Pick

I knew that I had to feature the Aims Blouse the second I saw it featured on Seamwork’s Instagram. I love the simple, yet romantic design. The yoke and gathers are classic and modern. The oversized fit and baby hem would be a perfect addition to my wardrobe. I could imagine wearing it tucked into my favorite jeans or untucked with my Zamora skirt.

This intermediate-level sewing pattern can be made with such a variety of fabrics, which makes it so easy to dress it up or down. Seamwork also has an expansion to this pattern where you can add a ruffle to the collar to make this blouse a little more cottagecore!

Homeownership 🏡✨

The last two months have been a complete whirlwind. Buying a house was not something we envisioned happening in 2026 but God has blessed us beyond measure.

Its a long story but it was the first and only house we saw. We weren’t even in the mindset to buy. We thought we’d wait another year or two. I went to the showing of this house and it felt like home the second I walked in. We put an offer in that day and waited for 72 hours after a previous conti...

The month of May has been a bit of a whirlwind. I’ve been making quilts, getting outside, wearing many of my memade skirts and dresses, and thanking God for an answered prayer that we didn’t even anticipate when the month started.
