Why You Should Knit This Free Pattern
While Ravelry is filled with free knitting patterns for projects from mittens to socks and hats, this sweater pattern is one of the most popular. The Step by Step Sweater is popular in the knitting community for good reason. It has clean instructions for knitters of any level, and the YouTube tutorial is long and detailed.

I haven’t knit this pattern yet, but I have had plans to for several years now. I have Istex Lettlopi yarn that I intended to use for another pattern but have since frogged that project. I’m craving a quick and satisfying knit that doesn’t have more advanced techniques.
