About this Free Toy Pattern
The Small Bear pattern is for the sewist who has some basic skills but may want to explore creating a toy from scraps using techniques like embroidery, sewing small curves, hand sewing, and closing seams with an invisible ladder stitch.
Laura shares a list of all the materials and tools you’ll need to complete this project. She walks you through each step with detailed photos, assuring that you’ll make a cute little bear just like hers.
This small toy is designed for woven fabrics such as cotton or linen, thrifted bedsheets, or clothes work well too! She even has instructions on how to make a fabric or knitted scarf so that your little bear will be warm all year long.
