About this Free Dress Pattern
This is the perfect dress to throw on in the hot summer months. The oversized fit is great for layering, pregnant women, to wear as a nightgown, or just around the house. It includes directions for pockets, tiers or tucks, thin straps, and a ruched bodice. It’s super affordable if you thrift vintage textiles, too!
The tutorial includes a printable PDF guide if you prefer to look at photos as you create this dress. Rooney Clothing has also created a full video tutorial with detailed instructions and steps on how to measure yourself for the perfect fit.

Why I love this pick –
I haven’t had the chance to sew this pattern yet, but I know it would be perfect for any level sewist. It’s roomy and can be made from so many different kinds of fabric. Courtney has also created a tutorial using two pillow cases for little girls. Mommy and me matching set, anyone?
